Bio

I paint in my studio under dull red light, in a trance of sorts,not seeing the full impact of a painting until i bring it into the light of day… thus revealing the true soul of the painting. Each piece is a true reflection of my ADHD…. sometimes i have 5 paintings going at once in 5 different styles…. I AM EASILY BORED!

I almost never use paint brushes…. most of my work is done with my fingers …. palette knives…. strips of cardboard and squirt bottles. I work so fast and chaotic that I rarely even notice it all come together. There is really no rhyme or reason to what i do or how i approach it, it just happens…. when I paint I just wait for the spark and reach into my past and present emotions and enjoy every frantic moment of it.I use no references at all…. except for the feelings inside that guide me through the journey.I paint in a disarray of stacked paintings half done and tons of paint tubes laying around…. it is beautiful mess, but that’s how i like it! I developed my art all by myself after I found a trash can full of paint that someone left out for the garbage man. I hauled it back to my then tiny studio apartment and locked myself away for a few years and experimented with the visions in my mind.

I keep my inspiration to myself and keep it being about inner exploration. Art is where the “outside” world never gets in when i am creating i am free!

My process is: I DO WHAT COMES NATURALLY: UNFORCED, UNPLANNED, UNREHEARSED, AND ALWAYS UNEXPECTED.
