I’m Head of Audience at The Economist in London.
I spearhead our digital growth by overseeing editorial strategies for social-media output, newsletters, push alerts and SEO. I also help to develop our presence on new platforms and exploring other digital opportunities.
I lead a team of talented and motivated editors who have transformed The Economist’s approach over the past two years. They won Best Use of Social Media at the International News Media Association’s Global Media Awards in 2021 and were nominated for Social Media Team of the Year at The Drum Online Media Awards in 2020 and 2021.
Before I joined The Economist in 2019 I spent four years at Bloomberg and 15 at BBC News, working across social media, digital platforms and radio.
