Hello I am Dr. Kerri Thompson. I am a certified Coach and I coach individuals to achieve a successful career search fuelled by enhanced mental fitness. Whether by choice or by circumstances, transitioning through a career search with an expert coach makes the process simpler, swifter, and successful.
I am a public speaker, author, researcher, and collaborator. My background is steeped in business – operations, marketing, finance, and human resources. My experience is enhanced by an MBA and Doctorate in Business Administration (DBA). I have worked for globally renowned employers, Motorola, IBM and The Body Shop, and Canadian icons CIBC and Husky Injection Molding. As a consultant and a Coach, I have worked with famous brand-named organizations, not for profits, entrepreneurs, and government. Sharing my 20 years of recruitment expertise I partner with clients to enhance their effectiveness in a career transition.
In my coaching practice I specialize in simpler transitions. I guide individuals who are in a career transition and are seeking: a next level opportunity, first career position, new to Canada position in their field, COVID re-alignment of values to one’s work, or return to the workforce. I am an expert in diversity recruitment and selection. Certified in Conversational Intelligence ®, Narrative Coaching®, and soon Positive Intelligence®, I bring a research-based, practical and inspiring foundation to my clients through a proven process.
Uniquely leveraging my expertise in Mental Fitness, I coach clients to build their capacity to be more productive, innovative, navigate potential barriers, enjoy enhanced relationships and live with improved wellness. The benefits serve the immediate career search process and result in life changing new habits and perspectives; heightening success in your next position.
I care actively for the causes of ADHD, Alzheimer’s, and Dying with Dignity.
My current personal pastime is reading all of the Pulitzer prize winning books of fiction. I teach yoga and fitness classes. I am a COVID-19 survivor and COVID-19 long-hauler survivor. I live in
