Somewhere in the ether of the internet, Ken was one of the first leaders in Alberta to recognize and harness the potential of digital marketing.

Way back in 1993, before most people even owned a computer, he founded Top Draw.

Ken instinctively grasped the power of emerging online platforms, pioneering new digital solutions and evolving the communications landscape in Alberta. 28 years later, he’s just as committed to the same progressive purpose.

Sought as a speaker at various events, Ken has presented on the wide topic of digital marketing at over 50 conferences throughout Northern America and abroad, and continues to do so today.

Ken has been a judge for the Canadian New Media Awards, Global Student Entrepreneur Awards (GSEA) and is an award recipient himself including: Most Innovative Company, Chamber of Commerce Small Business of the Year, Leader of Tomorrow, and recently received a NAIT (Northern Alberta Institute of Technology) Alumni Award of Excellence for his impact in industry and community.

Day to day, Ken heads Top Draw’s business development efforts, sets the strategic course for the company and advises on enterprise-level client accounts. Ken also impacts digital change throughout Edmonton by volunteering to speak at University and College classes and mentoring young entrepreneurs.

He founded the Canadian Search Engine Marketing Professional Organization (SEMPO), serves as acting President for the Entrepreneurs Organization of Edmonton (EO) and sits on the boards of the Cross Cancer Institute, Junior Achievement and NAIT Marketing Advisory Committee.
