Master Yirser Ra Hotep is the leader of the global Kemetic Yoga movement and has trained and certified over 6,000 instructors through YogaSkills School of Kemetic Yoga. He is the author of the most comprehensive set of instructional videos on Kemetic Yoga and was key to performing the original research, text translation, symbol interpretation and posture development of the original Kemetic Yoga system in the 1970s. Yirser leads tours and Kemetic Yoga Teacher Training courses in Egypt every year and also conducts trainings in Jamaica twice per year. He is the owner of YogaSkills Kemetic Yoga Studio in Atlanta and House of Hotep in Chicago. Master Hotep is the creator and curator of the Soul Yoga Festival which occurs in Chicago annually as well as in Jamaica, Atlanta, South Africa, Las Vegas, Kansas City, Paris and Gambia. Yirser has dedicated his work to the service of the Global African Community and has worked extensively with communities of at risk families, incarcerated youth and adults, those suffering from alcohol and drug addiction and more.
