I’m interested in identity as process- both internally and externally. I build textured atmospheres where I blend my body with materials to express cycles of change. The viewer is invited into the space of the unknown where the everyday can be reconsidered.

I’m trained in modern dance with a critical theory background from U.C. Berkeley. For my MA, I attended Syracuse University where I designed embodiment workshops for self reflection informed by phenomenology, communication & identity theories, and dance. These embodied practices sought to bring awareness to the performativity of social constructs and cultivate empathy.

As I began to integrate visual art into my dance practice, I have since been a part of various exhibitions, performances, and residencies, working in cities such as Los Angeles, San Francisco, Berlin, and Rio De Janeiro. I have also been a creative contributor in various projects, including interior design, which have been featured and published.
