Hi👋🏼 I am Katy. I was born in a single stoplight town in Kentucky, raised in a much bigger (but still small town) in Alabama, and now I’m living in Knoxville, Tennessee. I am proud to say I am the CEO & Founder of the Neighborhood Barre Fitness Franchising Company (20+ locations strong!) 🔥

After failing my CPA exam by one point, I took it as a sign to chase my REAL dream. In 2011, I quit my job. I moved to Knoxville not knowing a soul. And I opened my first fitness studio, Neighborhood Barre - a vision I had been developing for the better part of a year… and I have never looked back.

Nearly 10 years later, 21 locations nationwide (and more opening in 2022), and 2 virtual fitness platforms later… I am fortunate enough to actually say I am living my dream🦋✨. In an incredibly challenging year for the fitness industry, I am so proud to have built an amazing foundation of franchise owners and executive leader that allowed our business to completely stabilize in the most unstable year for small business📉📈.
