I want to redefine education. I built wethink because I am a learner that does not fit into the education system we have today. What I came to understand is that we do not equip humans with the skills they need for success. This isn’t only a problem in the K12 or higher education space. It’s a problem in the workforce as well. Grades and test scores aren’t great indicators of success (right now, they’re better indicators of socio-economic status) and, as the use of technology increases, skills like creativity, grit, problem solving, and communication are absolutely necessary, but we don’t teach them effectively. How do you solve this problem? We need to measure different skills. Skills that build better humans. wethink does just that. wethink is a platform that houses a research backed proprietary skills framework and algorithms that currently wraps around team based esports and video game experiences to surface metrics around the skills that matter most. wethink is using those metrics to predict and prescribe. We are working to reduce inequities in our educational system by surfacing metrics on malleable skills that are most impactful for career and life success.
