Academy Member and previously held a seat on executive committee of Short films feature animation branch for 9 years -
I love reviewing films for Oscar consideration each season.

I worked as a consultant in acquisitions for Shorts Entertainment largest short film distributor based in UK.

I consult short filmmakers on their scripts prior to production to help them with structure and compression of story. I come at it with objectivity and passing on a little of my experience of reviewing hundreds of films for years.

I was a Director of over a hundred broadcast commercials

Worked as Ad agency ACD in NYC
D’arcy, Campbell Mithun, Y&R
Pivoted to work in fashion art direction worked with luminary photographers Richard Avedon, Walter Chin, Raymond Mier, Patrick Demarchelier. Fashion adv was a great departure from global agency biz.

Left Ad biz to make my first short film “Speed for thespians”
got rejected by every festival I submitted to.

Cut six minutes out —resubmitted and got into dozens of festivals and went on to get nominated for an Oscar.

Life is strange the business of filmmaking is stranger

Currently I write and develop.
It’s a numbers game
Appetites change constantly

One of The best meetings I had at a studio Was with an exec who said “well it was great meeting you, I’ll see you again in 10 years”
