💁🏾‍♂️ Been working 18 years for the YMCA in California, Washington, and now nationally.

✊🏾 I do work around DEI and Antiracism efforts. Primarily around developing strategies and support around this work with local nonprofits:

🏘 I grew up on San Francisco, lived in Tacoma, WA for 7 years, in Oakland, CA for 6 years, and now reside in Chicago. (Have also lived in Concord and Bow NH.)

✍🏾 I am also a creative writer, mainly crafting short stories with non-traditional narrative styles and plays.

📝 I’ve also organizers writing groups (with people who convene just to write and share ideas) and writing workshop groups.

🌿 I also am on the board of Literacy for Environmental Justice (LEJ) based in Bayview Hunters Point in San Francisco (a mainly Black neighborhood). To learn more about LEJ go to https://www.lejyouth.org.
