💃🏿Red Love Film is an independent film company dedicated to telling compelling stories steeped in character and life. While telling stories that live in empathy, humanity & truth, our goal is to respect & leave the space where the story is created a little better. I created Red Love with my baby sister; in the biz plan she wrote a place for art and giving. When she and the twins died in pregnancy, we created Foundation of Joy. 📽

💜Foundation of Joy: We create art--cinema, mixed media, photography, theater & music to raise funds and awareness of the issues affecting children--education, art, healthcare, hunger, homelessness, mental health, climate change, racial equality, gender equality, foster care as well as women's human rights. We work with the nonprofits doing the daily work & we tell their stories. The stories raise awareness and funds, that not only educate--they go back to the nonprofits. We use volunteer work as a way to raise funds & awareness of the stories we create--circular win-win. The art helps educate and fund & we create the art through acts of service, and with the kids! We have an incredible group of artists who mentor kids & young adults in the creation of the art. Art serves a dual purpose--we can tell inspiring stories that raise awareness of these issues, and the distribution of the art raises funds for the nonprofits on the ground doing the hard work to make the lives of children better & with hope for a bright future. Art spreads Joy! 🎭🎨🖌
