24 years in EMS, PCT in level 1 trauma, Hospice Aide, phlebotomist, EKG tech, surgical tech, you name it, I’ve done it.
10+ years working at the American Red Cross as a casework manager/shelter manager for Disaster Relief and 3 years doing CPR/AED/FIRST AID training.
Currently working to prevent 1st responder and veteran/active duty suicide.
I have MS but MS doesn’t have me. Cancer couldn’t kill me. Violence couldn’t kill me. I couldn’t kill me. Losing two babies couldn’t kill me. PTSD couldn’t kill me. My mother’s suicide couldn’t kill me. What they did do was break me.
I am here to hear and learn from others what has helped get them through depression, anxiety, C-PTSD, and sexual trauma and learn to live again.
I’m here to try and help people with my story as I am an open book and connect with people who have gone through these things. I’m also here to laugh and make friends and connections.
