Juliana Colangelo is a public relations specialist in the wine industry leading the West Coast team for Colangelo & Partners (a food, wine and spirits integrated communications agency) in San Francisco, CA. Originally from the NY- Metro area, Juliana completed her undergraduate degree in Political Science at Barnard College at Columbia University in New York City in 2012. Most recently, she finished her WSET (Wine and Spirits Education Trust) Advanced certificate in January 2017 in San Francisco and her MBA in Wine Business at Sonoma State University in August 2019 in Sonoma.

Juliana launched the Supper Share in May 2020 to help sommeliers find new opportunities to share their talent with consumers who were seeking unique virtual event experiences. The virtual concierge service connected interested parties, both casual or corporate, with a sommelier based on wine tasting packs curated in partnership with Gary’s Wine & Marketplace. One hundred percent of the sommeliers fee went to the sommelier host, with a donation built in for United Sommeliers Foundation. In its first year, The Supper Share earned placements in Business Insider, Inc., The Spruce Eats, The Manual, and EventBrite. With this media buzz, The Supper Share hosted has executed over 150 events with 1,700 attendees. These activations for a variety of different groups, both casual and corporate, have generated over $30,000 for otherwise out-of-work hospitality professionals since May 2020, and over $138,000 in online wine sales.
