Trailblazing Attorney

Served as the First African-American Chief Presiding Judge for the City of Passaic, NJ and as a Judge for the City of Paterson, NJ, my hometown. First African-American ever elected to the position of County Clerk in the State of NJ by the age of 30.

First ever African-American to serve as Assistant County Counsel and County Adjuster for the County of Passaic, NJ.

Upon graduation from law school, became the first ever graduate of Rutgers Law School-Newark to receive a prestigious public interest fellowship and was honored by the President of the United States for work with public housing tenants.

Also served as the Corporation Counsel for the largest City in the State of New Jersey, Borough Attorney for Roselle, NJ and as Of Counsel to several law firms in the State of New Jersey.
