We are only able to create great experiences if we take the time to investigate, evaluate, and are courageous enough to take chances. It requires passion, creative vision and a never-ending sense of curiosity. It demands that we push the boundaries of what we know is possible or expected. It requires a compassion that drives us to delight the user.
I founded Busse Design, in 1999 with a vision to build and support great products by helping to create intuitive user experiences that enhance, support and maximize underlying technologies for software and hardware products.
In my role as CEO and Director of User Experience at Busse Design, I not only oversee the business and marketing aspects of the business, but I also direct all aspects for our client project development processes. For most client projects I was hands on, by running client meetings, facilitating and analyzing Usability Studies, defining the Information Architecture, creating use cases and UX interaction flows, and developing wireframes or clickable prototypes.
I understand the crucial components of a great company that attracts top talent dedicated to creating exceptional experiences. I pride myself in being a bit of a data nerd and in being able to effectively communicate customer needs, as well as marketing and engineering requirements, to create great user experiences that are delivered on time and on budget.
The array of products I have in my portfolio, such as medical devices, TVs, desktop computers, mobile apps and the like, display my ability to create the successful symbiosis between humans, technology, information, and design.
In April of 2018 I joined Autodesk in the role of Senior Principal User Experience Designer and was asked to lead the DPE Access-Manage UX team as interim Director in October. In this role, I was managing a team of 15 UX/Visual designers and researchers, leading the way in creating sophisticated, intuitive and engaging customer experiences.
In 2019 I joined VMware, where I initially managed a team with of 11 designers who are working on VMware‘s flagship product vSphere, before moving to Tanzu Observabilty to build a new global design team, covering 8 timezones, that can deliver on VMware‘s Tanzu customer promise.
