Joshua Katcher has taught at Parsons School of Design and has lectured internationally 🌍 and lobbied 🏛 in the United States for sustainable, ethical fashion 🪡 and animal rights 🦊 . Katcher’s award-wining book Fashion Animals was published in 2019. He started the first men's vegan lifestyle website, The Discerning Brute, in 2008 and then launched the first vegan, ethically-made menswear fashion brand, Brave GentleMan in 2010, which has been featured in Vogue, Forbes, GQ, The Financial Times and others.
Joshua is cofounder of RIND by Dina & Joshua, a sofi™ Gold Award-winning, soft-ripened, French-style vegan cheese recently featured in the Boston Globe, Food Network Magazine, Culture Magazine, America’s Test Kitchen and The Cheese Professor.
