For decades, Joseph has been passionately involved in many art communities not only as a creative, but one who advocates for grass root organizations. He began his journey working for "Appalshop," short for Appalachia Film Workshop following college, and became a licensed radio disc jockey for WMMT 88.7 FM in Whitesburg, Kentucky. From working with other creatives, incorporating unique skillsets, he developed discipline and his own fundamentals, all the while growing as a creative.

Originating from an Appalachian musical family, and learning to play the piano at age 6, Joseph gave his first public performance at age 12 with his southern gospel family. By age 14 he appeared regularly on television at WLJC-TV in Beattyville, KY. His musical ability grown with exposure to expansive culture and world music and by age 21 released his first solo album called "Simple Faith." Four albums later, and a digital license contract, Joseph's music can be found worldwide on Amazon, Apple Music, Google and Spotify. For more music visit josephburke.com.

Aside from broadcasting, Joseph is a local pop culture artist and painter, whose artworks are featured in local comic book shops in and around Central Florida. Embracing his love for 80's aesthetic, he incorporates art styles of the era in a modern approach to graphic design. He also earned the title as a “Comic Book Pop Culture Historian,” which means he’s versed in the origins of comics, science fiction and retro nostalgia including vintage toy collecting.
