Bio

Jorge is an Attorney-at-Law specialized in HR. He studied at Escuela Libre de Derecho, the most prestigious law school in México, he graduated with honors and received an award for being the best of his class; he obtained a Master of Laws degree at the University of Pennsylvania, and a certificate in Business and Public Policy at Wharton. He also obtained an MBA degree at IPADE Business School; he participated in an International Exchange program at CEIBS (Chinese Europe International Business School) in Shanghai, China, and more recently, he completed a program called "Interpersonal Dynamics for High-Performance Executives"​ at Stanford University, and a program called "Advanced Finance Program for Senior Executives" at Harvard Business School.

He served as partner in the labor department of Baker & McKenzie, the largest law firm in the world, in which he worked during 11 years and earned several distinctions (i.e. youngest partner). He served as HR Regional Director at Allergan. Under this capacity, he was responsible of all HR matters in LATAM (Arg, Bra, Col, Ven, Chi & Mex).

He served as Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) at Cinepolis and he was responsible of all HR matters worldwide (Brazil, Spain, USA, India, Colombia, Perú, Chile and CA), serving more than 35,000 employees, leading a team of more than 500 HR professionals. During the last 2015 International Convention of the company, he obtained the "2013-2014 Best Director Award"​.

In 2017, he joined The Walt Disney Company, to serve as Senior HR Director, Global Head for Diversity, Inclusion and Wellness for ESPN, based in NYC.

He is now the CEO of Delivering Happiness México, the worldwide leader firm in customer service and happiness at work.

He is founder of Wharton-Penn Club México, he is member of the 2014-2016 Harvard Business Publishing Corporate Learning Partners’ Advisory Council, and he integrates the World Economic Forum Mexico Gender Parity Taskforce.

In the 2015 he won the "Amedirh's HR Executive of the Year Award" and in 2017 he won "The Brandon Hall Award" in the best leadership development category.

He also is an international speaker who participated in more than 400 events in 4 continents, he has two TEDx Talks and serves as Invited professor in the executive programs hold by Harvard Business Publishing and IPADE Business School.
