Jonathan Prince is a prolific writer/producer with numerous projects set up on multiple platforms and across genres. Prince recently developed and Executive Produced FOUR WEDDINGS AND A FUNERAL with Mindy Kaling for MGM/Hulu and is Co-Creator and Executive Producer on the BET series AMERICAN SOUL, which just wrapped its second season. Currently Prince is writing a musical drama series, THE COMPANY, for HBO Max with Broadway composer Andrew Lippa attached to write the music. He is developing a Studio 54 series for MGM/EPIX and a Paramount Studios drama with writer Noah Pink on the early days at MTV. JP is producing the feature comedy ROCK THE BOAT with director Jon Turteltaub and EOne. In theater, he is currently writing the book (music and lyrics by Lippa) for POSEIDON, a Broadway-bound musical for renowned producers Michael Jackowitz, Raymond Wu and Bob Greenblatt. JP’s other recent projects include writing the event-series 38 NOOSES for AMC and producer Robert Redford, as well as co-creating the innovative drama series 12 ROOMS for Amazon. Jonathan has collaborated as writer/producer on multiple other projects with artists including Lance Bass (’NSYNC), producer Jimmy Iovine and comedy showrunner Chris Moynihan. Jonathan has created and run multiple other TV series, notably the Emmy-winning drama AMERICAN DREAMS which ran for 3 seasons on NBC, as well as THE CLEANER (starring Benjamin Bratt) which he co-created for A&E, and CANE (starring Jimmy Smits) which he Executive Produced for CBS.
