Amazon Web Services - AWS Certified Technical Trainer focusing on media and entertainment customers using a hands-on approach following the ADDIE principles of analysis, design, development, implementation and evaluation.

After completing my masters degree at Emerson while working in support at Avid Technology’s corporate headquarters, I moved to New York from Boston and established my own consultancy business in the post production industry.

Over twelve years in Manhattan I was fortunate enough to see much of the world and provide editing support on projects ranging from big-budget commercials, feature films, documentaries and reality TV, to massive digital newsrooms and international broadcasts like the Olympics and Miss Universe.

During that time I became an Avid Certified Instructor (ACI) certifying engineers (ACSR) in NY and LA, while also providing operational support and training for Avid Europe's "Big Picture" site's - massive news facilities using Avid’s storage and production asset management solutions.

Moving to Avid’s European headquarters just outside London at Pinewood Studios, I was an ACSR Elite Instructor training and certifying broadcast engineers in their ACSR Nexis, ACSR Interplay, and ACSR Editing courses.

In Dubai, I opened a Training Academy for MGI a Broadcast Systems Integrator and witnessed first hand the tremendous growth in the region.

At AWS Elemental I designed and delivered classroom and web-based training both internally and externally to partners and customers. Providing Instructor led training focused primarily on AWS Elemental’s on-premises encoding and packaging products. I was also a key contributor to the AWS Online MediaServices Learning path. Writing, developing, editing, and voicing video tutorials and self-paced labs using AWS MediaServices.

At AWS I deliver AWS Business Essentials, AWS Technical Essentials as well as the following certification courses: AWS Cloud Practitioner, AWS Solution Architect - Associate, and AWS SysOps Administrator - Associate.
