BlackTechsMatterDC is an organization that puts disadvantaged black youths first. We are a black owned, and black run Technology Learning Center, focused on helping black youth from 9th-12th grade become certified IT professionals. š§š¾āš»
We train the youth with black, certified IT professionals that thrive in their areas of expertise. Through this program, the youth will receive certification training in their option of the CompTIA Security+, Azure Fundamentals, AWS Cloud Practitioner certifications, as well as coding. š©š¾āš«
They will also go through resume building courses, and mock interviews as well so that they are prepared to enter the workforce upon completion. There are other organizations on board to help with internships and job placement as well.š»
I truly believe sometimes, the difference in success is opportunity. That is what my colleagues and I are here to provide. Opportunities for our Black youth. šØāš§āš¦š©āš§āš¦
