Eventually all things fall into place. Until then, laugh at the confusion, live for the moments, and know that everything happens for a reason.

I battled Ulcerative Colitis for years which eventually led to my having to have a total colectomy with creation of an ileostomy (end and loop) and finally a jpouch. After my reversal I struggled with antibiotic dependent chronic pouchitis which eventually led me back to an ileostomy (loop). My journey has forced me to deal with blood clots, pyoderma gangernosum, fistulas, small bowl obstructions and a myriad of other set backs.
I have spent the last two years educating myself on how to rebuild my body after multiple surgeries and lengthy hospital stays. I have educated myself on how to fuel my workouts while having an ileostomy. I have educated myself about hydration which is critically important to those without a large intestine. I am a work in progress and hope to one day make it to another finish line.
I enjoy working with those who are just starting their fitness journey or in the process of rebuilding their bodies as it can absolutely be done with a little patience and a lot of determination 🥰
