Joan Dyer, marketing geek and founder of consulting firm Cultivation Companies, started her career by achieving her dream of being a book editor. She quickly fell a little out of love with the publishing business and a lot in love with marketing and solving the strategic challenges faced by even the most difficult of businesses. You’ll currently find her working with a fun and eclectic group of clients as well as spearheading the marketing behind the US launch of eCommerce Expo.

A self-prescribed “math marketer” she’s obsessed with measuring the who, what, when and why of marketing. She currently lives outside of Chicago in Oak Park, Illinois in a 140 year old house that may or may not be haunted.
