Apostle Theola Futch was born in the city of Chattanooga, where she accepted Christ in her life at the age of 17; Mama Futch as she is affectionately called attended Middle Tennessee State University (MTSU) where she majored in music. As a multi gifted musician and actress Apostle Futch studied at Cadek Conservatory of Music in Chattanooga, TN.
Pastor Theola has shared the stage with several Grammy and Stellar award winning artist and made her acting debut January 2012 in the inspirational gospel musical stage play “Crowns” written by Regina Taylor King playing the role of Mother Shaw in which Ms. King personally gave Apostle Futch rave reviews for her role after a surprise appearance. One of Apostle’s favorite Bible scripture is Luke 4:18 “The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel”... KJV
Apostle Futch is known for her extraordinary zeal for prayer and the word of God that she delivers with prophetic clarity and power. Apostle Theola Futch serves as the Senior Pastor of Christian Deliverance Center Ministries in Madison TN, which was founded by her late husband Bishop Dannie Futch.
Under the spiritual leadership, teaching and guidance of Apostle Futch the congregation of CDCM has grown from four members to a thriving ministry that reaches the lost and the un- churched. Apostle’s focus is to share the glorious gospel of Jesus Christ, see lives transformed by the power of God, and help others see and reach their purpose in God. In addition to her work in the Kingdom of God, Apostle Theola was a loving and devoted wife to Bishop Dannie Futch for 42 years and is the mother of Takoah Futch and Dannita (Futch) Mays. She has a son-in-law, James Mays and four loving grandchildren Kamya, Clarence III, Jamoni and James III.
