Bio

An energetic, fun loving, driven individual, I am only just getting started on my journey.

With my matriculation into university this year (I'm studying in the National University of Singapore, Faculty of Arts and Social Science), I've finally taken that last step into young adulthood, the season where I build my identity, and figure out who exactly I am, what I stand for.

These days, I'm usually doing one of three things - studying, working, volunteering. Work exposes me to the industries and jobs I'm interested in pursuing while volunteering keeps me grounded and reminds me of what I am working so hard for.

In my downtime, I like to spend time talking to people, listening to their stories and gaining inspiration from them. I also actively consume content revolving personal development, because I believe that this is one aspect that we have to depend on ourselves for, it's not something we learn by being in school.

In my longer periods of rest, I like to take my camera out for a walk. People might think I'm crazy for saying this, but I believe there's magic in photography. A good photograph is not one that follows all the rules, but one that tells a story. A huge advocate for the documentation of one's journey, I also write a lot. Just like how there is magic in my camera, I also believe in the magic of a pen (well, or in the keyboard of my laptop these days).

Besides, it's just so beautiful that memories fade, places and people change, but photography and writing captures memories that don't.

Life is not a bed of roses, but I love to dream. And I dream of the day when everything falls into place, and I finally understand what all the trials I'm going through are meant for.
