Jenny Prior owns and operates Living Bread Baker (livingbreadbaker.com), where she teaches sourdough baking and creates recipes to share through her books and website. Her love of cooking, background in teaching special education, and health journey led her to create this business to help share the joy and wonder of sourdough baking with others.
Sourdough first met a need to begin enjoying bread, pizza, and other recipes without digestive discomfort. Then, when her children were struggling with eczema and became picky, sourdough bread became an important part of family meals without causing flare-ups. Now, it is a part of daily provision as well as a source of celebration in their family.
Passing on the digestive benefits, simple provision, and ability to celebrate through sourdough is Jenny's passion.
She also partners with organizations who work with at-risk and foster youth through donations and sourdough baking lessons.
Jenny resides in northern California where she is the mother of three young children.
