I am an Entertainment and business attorney helping producers and entrepreneurs create and protect their businesses.

I’ve recently been handling numerous litigation matters, but prior to that I was involved in the motion picture business for over 25 years in various capacities. I was a co-owner of a commercial production company, and after passing the California bar in 1995, I have represented various independent theatrical motion picture producers as either their attorney or in-house counsel. The range of my experience covered almost every possible legal service, from initial literary-rights acquisition to production, to rights sales, to enforcing royalties in distribution. I have advised my clients in numerous transactions, negotiations, and production decisions relating to all aspects of business and legal affairs, contract negotiation, analysis, litigation, corporate governance and business administration.

It’s a romp of a train wreck on producing, directing, acting and creating live theatre, but all the stories equally apply to film.
