Jeffrey Daniels, FAIA is the principal of Jeffrey Daniels Architects. He earned a BA from Princeton University and an M.Arch from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He worked for the Taller de Arquitectura of Ricardo Bofill in Barcelona, Spain, and then came to Los Angeles to work in the office of Frank Gehry.
Notable works designed by Jeffrey Daniels include the David Hockney Residence, the Edythe and Eli Broad Studios at California Institute of the Arts, and the iconic award winning KFC on Western. Daniels' work has been featured in numerous publications and books, including LA Architecture by James Steele and Heteropolis by Charles Jencks. He received an AIA Los Angeles Chapter Design Award for his Project New Hope Apartments and his work was selected to be part of Overdrive: LA Constructs the Future, an architectural exhibit at the Getty Museum.
In addition to designing a wide range of projects, Daniels is also engaged in research on how remote work, together with the technologies of virtual and augmented reality, will impact the evolving urban fabric.
