🇭🇹 🇨🇺 Miami native, bipartisan lobbyist, advocate, and debater. Making history as a public servant. Mentor, nonprofit co-founder. 9+ years in local, state, and federal government experience.
What I do:
- Manage the city’s federal and state legislative portfolio; advocate for positive policies and obtain funding for necessary community projects/programs.
- Manage the Economic and Business Development/Community Investment Division. Provide resources to businesses and entrepreneurs looking to open, expand, and grow in Ft. Lauderdale.
Goals:
- Leverage city resources to start, establish, globalize, and market tech hubs, innovation & incubator centers, and move companies and capital to South Florida.
- Retain local talent.
- Incentivize entrepreneurship.
- Grow a diverse & international community.
- Support micro- to small businesses.
- Create partnerships to resolve challenges those in the business community face when growing.
- Attract angel investors and venture capitalists.
