Revolutionary Black Female Artist 👩🏾🎨

Hi clubhouse loves!
I create contemporary acrylic paintings with a focus on social impact for cultural thought leaders. Much of my work addresses the social justice issues that continue to affect society. Between those heavier subjects I paint gentle abstracts and peaceful paintings to address the need to step away for self care and healing while managing lupus. Being a black woman with a chronic illness gives me a unique perspective on our world as I constantly juggle a balance between changing the world and mental and physical health. I aim to apply that same principle of balance, visually, in every piece that I create.
I also decolonize the art world as a high school art teacher =)
