To call Jay Phillips a muti-hyphenate would be an understatement;Writer, producer, actor, comedian, and radio personality. Jay built his reputation and career as a stand up comedian touring the world alongside such names as: Cedric the Entertainer, Katt Williams, D.L. Hughley, and many others as well as headlining to sold out shows across the country. Jay parlayed his comedic skills into numerous on screen appearances such as Semi Pro opposite Will Ferrell, Baby Mama, Prom Night, as well as the hit sitcom Grown Folks of which he wrote, produced, and starred in. Jay, most recently produced and co-starred in Grown Folks on Bounce Tv. Jay can be currently seen as the co-host of D.L. Hughley’s popular radio show on TVOne.
