Hi! I’m from Laredo. I moved to San Antonio in 1997 to attend the University of Texas at San Antonio. I have a bachelor's and a master's degree in political science. I work for UT Health San Antonio and will be celebrating fifteen years in May. I serve as the Senior Executive Director for Governmental Relations. Charles Edward Mangelsdorf Jr., a native of San Antonio, is my husband, and we have been married for almost eleven years. He is a graduate of UT Health San Antonio School of Nursing. Currently, Charles is a surgical nurse at St. Luke's Baptist Hospital. In my free time, I enjoy exercising and spending time with my family. Our son Ryan loves to play baseball - during the weekday, and even on most weekends, you can find us at the local batting cages in Boerne.
