Enduring a household littered with drugs and abuse as a child, I was overwhelmed with hopelessness and abandonment . While most children should be enjoying their childhood, at 15 I attempted to end mine.

I buried all of my pain as a child and took my suppressed emotions into my adult life, destroying all of my relationships and hurting the people around me that meant the most.
