I’m a psychologist, researcher, and grad student, with some background and aspirations for service work like psychotherapy. In the past I spent some time studying expressions of sexuality, especially different methods of defining sexual orientation (recommend Sexual Configuration Theory), and factors behind formation of less frequent expressions of sexuality, such as asexuality.

Currently I work with troubled adolescents in residential facilities designed to prepare them for independent living and do research on the way children learn mathematic concepts and how these concepts can be taught to improve their learning experience. My own personal focus on this subject is whether bilingual children have advantage in learning over monolingual children.

In the future I’m hoping to study the intersection between neuroplasticity and religious experience, or in other words, whether having faith can change the structure of your brain and what effect that could have!
