Bio

Jan Henrik has broad experience in the Travel Industry from Travel Agencies, Airlines, and hotels. He has worked in several positions in everything from sales to management positions. From 2011 to end of 2020 I have been the General Manager in NBTA (Norwegian Business Travel Association). I am GTP certified (Global Travel Professional) through GBTA (Global Business Travel Association). Currently, while still connected to NBTA, I work as the managing partner of Travel IQ Nordic, a new kind of consultant and representation house that covers the whole travel value chain with a 360 degree view.

Besides NBTA, I have also been working as a consultant for both buyers and suppliers within areas like market research, sourcing, strategy, advisor, and Destination Marketing, especially towards the MICE-market. I have also written travel articles for a flight magazine. During my time in the travel industry I have built up an extensive network.

On the more academic side I have a Master’s Degree from The Norwegian Business School BI.
