Janet Glover-Kerkvliet, NCC, LCPC, GCDF, HNCP is a career development facilitator, adult/couples psychotherapist, and a Maryland Approved Clinical Supervisor. Ms. Glover-Kerkvliet has experience counseling clients dealing with depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, co-occurring disorders, addiction recovery, relationship, and life/career issues. She facilitates counseling groups and workshops designed to assist people with employment barriers, racial microaggressions, workplace bullying, and other mental health concerns. She is a Baltimore Corps 2017-18 Elevation Awardee, a 2018-19 Johns Hopkins Social Innovation Lab cohort member, a 2019 Warnock Foundation Social Innovation Fellow, a member of the 2019 PioneerBaltimore cohort, a 2019-2021 Open Society Institute-Baltimore Community Fellow, a Innovation Works Global Social Benefit Incubator/Miller Center for Social Entrepreneurship-Santa Clara University cohort member, and a 2021 Daily Record 100 Top Women in Maryland nominee for her work as director of the Baltimore Job Hunters Support Group at the Corner Community Center (2011-2022; Program closed 12/2022). Ms. Glover-Kerkvliet received the American Counseling Association Foundation (ACAF) 2018 Grant, the National Board for Certified Counselors (NBCC) 2018 Tuition Award for Board Certified Coach Training, and the OneLifeTools Tuition Scholarship for Holistic Narrative Career Professional (HNCP) training. She is also an Affiliate Trainer for the Workplace Bullying Institute and founder of the Maryland Freedom from Workplace Bullying Task Force. Ms. Glover-Kerkvliet is the former program director of the Family Employment and Support Program at the Circuit Court for Baltimore County and GenesisJobs/Goodwill Industries.
