Child-on-Child sexual abuse survivor, educator | advocate 🦋| The Story of One Woman's Journey to Rebuild Herself in the Aftermath of Childhood Sexual Abuse Using the Stages of Grief.


I'm passionate about sharing my story of child-on-child sexual abuse from an older sibling, its effects, and how I have been able to begin healing using the grief process. I engaged in many transient sexual relationships, too many to count. I began stripping at age 19. It was then I met Mark, my first husband. He "rescued" me. Unfortunately, six years into our marriage, he was diagnosed with esophageal cancer. He died seven months after the initial diagnosis. I became a young widow at 34. I thought that was my story, but God was not finished with me yet.

I was blessed to meet my new husband, and we had two children. But that is when the trouble began brewing. The memories from my childhood sexual abuse had been triggered and they weren't going anywhere. This is where my work began. My story is pain and trauma, abortion, anti-depressants, alcohol, pornography - forgiveness, hope, healing, courage, faith and resiliency.

Courage is contagious. I hope to inspire others to own their stories courageously and turn pain into beauty. Take your power back by sharing your story.
