I grew up fishing and wanting to be a wildlife biologist, but I ended up with degrees in conservation biology and natural resource ecology. My skills it turns out are very valuable at the intersections of science and society.

Many of my proudest moments have come from building teams, leading long-term and complex projects, and activating people to be part of the solution, not part of the problem. For more than 20 years I've organized and led people and institutions to do things differently, and succeed.

I utilize a broad set of technical and interpersonal skills to help stakeholders and customers meet their challenges and capitalize on opportunity. Often referred to as a Swiss Army Knife, people have come to count on me for:

I spent 6 years as a leader in the emerging cannabis and hemp industries, cultivating a deep set of relationships that I used to effectively develop business opportunities, influence policy, support innovation, and increase access for underrepresented voices.

These days, I've shifted my professional efforts to real estate and construction management - working as a project manager in the Metropolitan Redevelopment Agency for the City of Albuquerque. Along with developers, city entities, and citizens, I lead efforts to deploy public development financing mechanisms and cultivate collaborative solutions that support responsible, sustainable development of the built environment.

If you catch me outside work, it's likely you'll catch me at a local dive bar throwing some darts and talking hunting with the locals, or outside hiking, biking, and allowing nature to keep me humble.
