A muslim ahlus sunnah wal jama

The Muhaddith of our era, Shaykh Muhammad Nāsir ud-Deen al-Albāni رحمه الله said:
“Islām is adhering to the Qur’ān and Sunnah according to the understanding of the Salaf (The Pious Predecessor).”
Silsilah al-Huda wan-Nūr 357

The Messenger of Allāh صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ said:
“I have been given the Qur'an and something like it (the Sunnah) yet a time will come when a man will say: ‘We only need the Qur'an.’”
(Sunan Abi Dawud, no.4587, Sahih Albani)

Shaykh Al-Islam Ibn Taymīyyah رحمة ألله said:
“The Sunnah explains the Qur’ān and shows what it means and explains it further … the authentic Sunnah does not contradict the Book of Allāh but rather it agrees with it and affirms it, but it clarifies and shows further (its meaning) to those who fall short in understanding the Qur’ān, for the Qur’ān has subtle meanings that are obscure to many people and in it are topics mentioned in the general sense and the Sunnah explains it.”

Working for the most difficult Day
Abu Tharr (may Allah be please with him) said: ❝Pray in the darkness of the night for the loneliness of the graves, fast in this world for the heat of the Day of Resurrection, and give charity out of fear of a hard day. I am a sincere adviser and I worry for you.❞

Imām Bukhārī said:
“I don't know anything that a person needs that isn't in the Qur'ān and Sunnah.”
