Greetings! Allow me to introduce myself, my name is Jackie Jackson,
because I know that things change for the better when we come together!

I am a grandmother of seven grandchildren and a mother of four adult children and as far back as I can remember I've always been passionate about making a positive change in my community.

For over 20 years, I’ve been a high quality childcare provider in Los Angeles county. In 2016 I was the first African-American to launch an early Headstart Childcare Program out of a residential homes. To date, there are still only 13 other African Americans in the nation.

I mentor 44,000 childcare providers throughout the state of California and I am an active leader in the SEIU local 99 Childcare Providers Union. I serve as a youth advocate on the board of Cleota Women and Youth Services, 501(c)3. I am the community representative for Los Angeles county Harbor Gateway North
