My personal drive is simple. I love art. In all its forms and mechanics. I'm fascinated how we can tell so many stories with just one piece of work and how the world is a never ending mystery to an artist. There is always expression, a nuanced understanding and a capability to create a fine line between reality and distortion. Art challenges our perception and makes us look at the world differently. I have never connected with art as an artist. I have always connected to it as a aesthete. And that is how I found myself gradually moving into curation. Creating intimate spaces for art, connection and conversation always fascinated me. I started creating projects which enabled this to come alive in unexpected spaces. I held space for people of different art forms to express themselves intuitively and collaboratively. Fostered conversations and discussions around what art means to the artist and what the art means to the audience. This is such a delicate space which when guided well can lead to a great amount of reflection and understanding. This is what excites me the most. The ability for art to ignite minds and inspire change.
