Giuseppe Gallo on Clubhouse

Bio

Giuseppe Gallo is one of the world’s most respected mixologists, with an inherent passion for the drinks business and an inimitable source of knowledge and insight into the world of drinks. He has worked in almost every type of drinks and hospitality business over the last 20 years, most recently as Martini Global Brand Ambassador.
His success in the industry was recognised when Giuseppe was crowned Best International Brand Ambassador at Tales of the Cocktail 2014.

Hailing from the beautiful Amalfi coast in the south of Italy, although Giuseppe has international experience, his passion for mixology stems from his strong Italian heritage, dating back to his childhood, when he used to watch his mother make homemade Limoncello. Through his role, Giuseppe had a fundamental role in growing and shaping the vermouth category as it today.

Giuseppe has achieved an impressive reputation in the industry and is often approached to contribute to editorials for international trade media, as well as being profiled in influential titles including The Sunday Times, CLASS, Imbibe, Vanity Fair, Wall Street Journal and PEOPLE.
In the last few year Giuseppe helped develop and create the DrinksTube platform, as well as re-launch the entire cocktail program for Jamie’s Italian restaurants in UK in 2015.

Giuseppe is member of the international judging committee at Tales Awards and he is consider to be one of world expert on Vermouth & Amaro and trough ITALSPIRITS he is promoting the Italian drinking culture around the world.
In September 2016 he created ITALICUS – Rosolio di Bergamotto to reestablish a forgotten Aperitivo category and in the first year since the launch was crowned the Best New Spirit of the year at Tales of the cocktail and most innovative cocktail ingredients at European Bar Awards in 2017.
