I am a happy believer in the logic that the Ultimate Cause has to be The Perfect Being. He is the cause of the being of all else. He is the Most Merciful.

Our life is a test. I wish the best to each in their tests.

Nearly all the misunderstandings on Islam when not through false information is due directly to the secondary literature by Muslims or indirectly to secondary literature which is wrongly used as the lens by many Muslims to interpret the Quran.

However, I am NOT a Quran only Muslim. I also take wisdom from hadith but ONLY when it is illuminated by the Quran (the Furqan-the Criterion) and fully consistent with the entire Quran.

The media falsely portrays Islam as being extremist. The Quran is categorically against extremism.

Like the vast majority of Muslims, I am against extremism.

Like the vast majority of Muslims I am against any Muslims who misrepresent Islam and have extremist views but the media gives too much coverage to extremist Muslims.

I long for and try to work for peace and happiness and fairness for my family, myself, and all on our planet

Professionally, I am a physician and an epidemiologist

I am 50 years old, happily married with children
