A Short Term Accommodations or Rentals (STA / STR) and Hospitality Evangelist. Mateo has spent the past 5 years supporting the professionalization of the industry to hosts and managers globally. In his prior experience as Director of Global Strategic Partnership for Rented.com, he assisted STA/STR professionals with successfully scaling their businesses through the implementation of revenue management technology and data science based revenue strategies.
Mateo is a proud graduate of Morehouse College in Atlanta Georgia and currently serves as the Managing Director of Rent Responsibly, Atlanta. Rent Responsibly is an STA/STR advocacy group that helps hosts, managers, and our communities come together and create a sustainable future for all.
Mateo is a champion for diversity and inclusion and currently serves as the co-chair of the Vacation Rental Managers Association DEI subcommittee.
