Delivering a stripped down, honest version of R&B music, with his unique blend of soul and R&B spirit, Nik Joseph weaves between genre boundaries blending the elements of pop hooks and soulful riffs. “I feel proud when my music connects with people,” says the South Carolina native.

Lyrically, Nik’s music is very candid; He isn’t trying to paint over situations and paint relationships as perfect. “I talk about what I’ve been through and conversations that I’ve had with friends; real life experiences, Nik Joseph admits. “The music that I learned from is the music that spoke about real life and love. I want to continue the conversation.

I listen to most genres and artists but my heart is in Soul Music, so I think the influences come from there. It’s important to say something, to have my music be emotional , be vulnerable,” says Nik. So these are things that are really important to me.”
