🙋‍♀️ WHO I AM + WHAT I DO

I have bought, built, and sold brick and mortar businesses 🧱 —retail, restaurants, oil change venues, proprietary electronic repair. (Not all were successes. #keepinitreal) I rocked this until the early 2005 when I started a blog. Prior to GA, y’all. 🦖 Enter Twitter. In 2007/8, my dad said “you’ve got to get on Twitter” — I thought it was the dumbest thing ever—until I didn’t. I started using it, and had friends and colleagues asking me how to use it for their businesses. Until I had a couple of friends say “you should be charging for this!” And so I did. And my first customer in this digital space came from a conversation via Twitter DM. In 2007, I began working exclusively online and Story Social Media began to evolve. 💫

I’ve hosted blogging conferences, business masterminds, and helped companies 10X their businesses. People and business strategies are my jam. 💃🏼

💕 MY HEART + MY MISSION

And at the end of the day, my heart is for women. I never want a woman to feel stuck. Whether it’s in a financial situation, a dead end job or simply a rut in life.

I want ladies to know and believe that The Lord created them for great things, and that there is a way (if the Lord is directing them ✝️) to balance motherhood with starting a side hustle or online business. They don’t have to choose one or the other.

I believe with everything in me, if we have a yearning in our hearts that ‘there has to be more to life than this,’ there usually is. Each human was made with purpose. I want to help you find and accomplish yours. ✨
