A producer and DJ out of Charlotte, NC, DJ KG’s, love for music began at an early age when he was exposed to a vast range of music at the age of nine.

As a teenager, DJ KG started building his music collection that included all genres of music ranging from gospel to hip-hop.
He then experimented with his love for music by playing his DJ mixes for anyone that would listen. DJ KG’s passion for music was so great that he took it upon himself to study music engineering and composition theory. This took his love and passion to a higher level.

DJ KG proudly carries 15 years of experience under his belt in deejaying and a little over 5 years of being a producer.
DJ KG has developed a great sense of dynamism in his sound. With confidence, his mixes take the partygoer on a rollercoaster ride

With his music DJ, KG seeks to create extraordinary sounds that expand beyond the horizons of a field saturated with originality.
Whether he is producing or deejaying the music, his goal is for you to remember how it made you feel at that moment.

His influences include multiple musical icons that he has had the pleasure of working with such as William “Big Worm” Blunt, Chauncey Black of the Grammy Award Winning group “Blackstreet”, the late Carlos McSwain of Grammy Producing Group 1500 or Nothing, Darnell Van Rensalier, and Dwayne Jones of the Double Platinum Group “SHAI.”

DJ KG has also been influenced by his uncle Grandmaster DJ Kutta. While the legends have undoubtedly played a big part in his career, DJ KG stays humble to the craft. He truly believes that big or small, there’s always something to be learned from every artist and DJ that he’s encountered along the way.

DJ KG is on the fast-track to becoming a world-renowned DJ and music producer. With his progressive life philosophy, that music has the power to bring change to the world, nothing is stopping him from becoming a household name. DJ KG will be one to be remembered.
