▪️Biography:
🔹Hatem has more than 24 years of professional experience in several Engineering, Management and executive positions in multinational companies in many countries.

🔹Hatem had his MBA from Netherlands in 2008, and his B.Sc. in Electronics and Communications Engineering in 1997.

🔹Hatem is currently the Chief Operations officer in Benya Cables, the largest Fiber Optics Cables factory in Middle East and Africa.

🔹He also has the responsibility of Corporate innovation section in iHub aiming to develop the corporate innovation and intrapreneurship arena in Egypt. He has vast experience in management and large projects and startups in several sectors/industries as he participated in the launch, and merger and acquisition of several corporates in Canada, Italy, Greece, Lebanon, Libya, Iraq, Korea, and Bangladesh. He also had the experience in the initial development and launch of many startups in several countries such as Egypt, Algeria, USA, Canada, Germany, Spain, France, Italy, Lebanon, Jordan, Iraq, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Korea, Morocco Cameroon and others.

🔹Hatem actively participated in many entrepreneurial programs as Judge, Mentor and lecturer including TIEC, GESR, Google, MIT Ban Arab, Eitesal, iHub, MIE, ITU, AMPION Venture bus (Germany), Jacob’s startups (Germany), Mowgli (UK).

🔹He’s also the organizer of the Lean Startup Circle in Egypt which is the official circle of the global Lean Startup movement, he’s the owner of the Lean Startup Circle – Egypt Facebook group, which is currently one of the largest Facebook groups related to startups and entrepreneurs in the region with more that 45+ members mainly from Egypt and the Middle-East.
