Short Bio:
Justin Chu (He/They) is an MPhil candidate at The University of Hong Kong, working on his thesis related to sex toys, obscenity, and creativity. He also chairs the Student Affairs and Outreach Subcommittee of the Committee on Gender Equality and Diversity, Faculty of Arts, HKU.
Apart from his academic life, Chu also works as a community sex educator; from hosting workshops on menstrual politics, guest lecturing in universities on masculinities and pornography, to speaking about masturbation and orgasm on the regional public broadcasting service RTHK.
