Patrick Horsman, CFA is a serial entrepreneur and investor. His focus is uncovering esoteric niche investments that have a sustainable competitive advantage. Mr. Horsman was the Managing Partner of Blue Sand Securities LLC which he Co-Founded in 2002. Blue Sand is a placement agent and has raised over $15B from institutional investors for its Alternative Investment fund clients. He was also the COO and Co-Founder of Merion Investment Management LP a Litigation Finance fund he launched in 2009 that currently manages $800M. He is also a Co-Founder and Managing Partner of Integrated Ag LP, a $200M private equity fund focused on Agricultural Investments in US Farmland with a specific focus on improving water infrastructure. He was also the Founder of Integrated CBD, an institutional scale grower of Industrial Hemp, and refiner of CBD Oil and Isolates which launched in 2019. He is the Founder and CIO of Esoteric Strategies LP a hedge fund focused on investments in niche, uncorrelated investments that currently manages $25M. He is also the Co-Founder of Innovation Shares, a thematic ETF sponsor that offers investors exposure to cutting edge themes created using AI and Natural Language Processing, including NYSE: KOIN one of the first Blockchain ETF’s. He is also the Founder of Verified Organic LP an Ethereum-based Blockchain application designed to bring transparency and accountability to the organic food production process from farm to table. He was a seed investor in Context Summits LLC a hedge fund conference series focused on one on one meetings between institutional investors and hedge fund managers. He was previously the Founder and Managing Partner of Cypress Settlements LLC a Fin-tech company that allowed institutional investors to electronically claim class action settlements from historical trading. Cypress was acquired by FRT in 2015. Mr. Horsman is the Managing Partner of Horsman Holdings a single family office that invests in Alternatives. Mr. Horsman resides in San Juan, PR and is an avid golfer and spear fisherman.
